FILs & Rehearsal Dinner

for those of you whose FIL's are throwing the RD: Are YOU planning it or are they?

I have been stuck with the job & I'm a little annoyed (esp since everytime I find some place, they shoot it down based on price.) I have gotten 6 menus from resturants this week & I handed them all over with pricing, etc. & they said no to ALL of them & said to find somewhere less expensive.

They are from Rhode Island & I think they don't understand that you cannot have food AND open bar for $40 a head in the Hamptons in June!!!!

I am doing ALL the work & I'm kind of burnt out. I mean, I am planning the wedding & having a baby next month & I feel like they are throwing more responsibility on me.

Is this happening to anyone else (minus the baby part)?

my FMIL is paying for it but she wants me to do all the research...my wedding is in 58 days and we still haven't booked it! I know she just wants me to go where I want and be happy with it...but I don't have time to truck back to the old neighborhood to go searching for restaurants!

We have yet to begin planning our RD but my FILs will be paying for that so they are the type who wil want to be in charge if they are paying we shall see!!!
