When doing your final count, does it include vendors too? Also, are bride and groom included too?

Re: final count question
the bride & groom need to be part of the final count.
vendors are also counted, but separately .... if they are preferred vendors at your hall, you may not have to pay for them at all .... or you may pay 1/2 price for them .... but the hall still needs to know how many meals to prepare for them.
so you need to give them a list that looks something like this:
adults = ___ children = ___ vendors = ___

Re: final count question
Bride and groom are included in the final count and vendors are usually counted as 1/2 a guest.

Re: final count question
A good tip someone once told me was to tell the RH about 8 people less than what your actual count is. A lot of times people just don't show up for one reason or another. At my friends wedding two couples didn't show because of last minute issues and at another friends wedding about 6 people didn't show that RSVP'd yes. This way you don't pay extra for people that didn't show.

Personally I would rather pay for the correct number of guests, than have the embarrassment of not having placecards for guests and having the staff at the hall have to quickly setup extra chairs at tables.
You have to give the hall a list with the # of guests at each table, and it has to add up to your final count #.
What you suggested makes NO sense at all to me!!!!
