Final count/payment (under counting)

I know at the last minute, people who have rsvp'd yes will call and cancel. I would like to give the RH a final count of 5 less from what I actually have, if nobody cancels then I'll pay - BUT how do I do this? 2 weeks prior I have to give final count along with seating chart, I can't think of a way of making this work...anyone??
TIA!

Just omit those 5 places from your seating chart....make it people you KNOW will be there and maybe give them the heads up. So you'll have a couple of small tables.

The day of tell your bridal attendant right away that your parents invited a few more people and you haven't prepared seating cards or anything. She should let you know who doesn't have a seat and you are prepared to pay on the spot.

I undercounted by 5, I didn't tell them at all....turns out 6 didn't show. I was SO happy! Thank GOD I undercounted, would have su*ked to lose 6 seats! In effect, I lost 1 and I'm ok with that.

Good idea!!! Thankyou!
You didn't have to give your seating chart with final payment?

We gave five less couples when our seating chart and final count was due as recommended by our BM. We gave an updated listed when we dropped off all of the stuff at the RH. Just double check that you can always add on at any time...I believe you can though you just can't take away once you hand the final count it...

its always better for you to owe THEM money than visa versa .

I did hand in a seating chart but left off 5 people. They quickly did what they had to do to seat people who didn't have a seat. No problem.
