Final DIY invite sample........i think LOL ***repost from 09***
My cardstock finally came last night
i had to tweak my template for the pocket folds a bit since this cardstock is thicker but here it is.......
still needs a little more tweaking here and there but this is the basic design.
what do you think honestly? please i'm open to opinions good and bad
the pre scored and folded sheet
invite and direction card layed out(there will be 3 more inserts)
closed before ribbons
with ribbons and tag.... this will be more centered
with the bow holding it closed... this will be more centered also
in the envelope( i did the liner too)

That looks so good! When it comes time to do my invitations, i'm prob gonna be picking your brain, cuz those turned out great and i'm all about diy if its possible

They look great!! Fantastic job so far!! I love the liner...what kind of paper did you use for that? Was it regular or cardstock? Also, what template did you use for the pocketfold?

lol DIY is ALWAYS possible in my opinion
my brain is always open for picking I decided to do them myself basically because i'm a cheap A$$ bride and I had a idea of what I wanted and didn't see quite whay i was looking for anywhere.

you would never guess what the liner is........ it's...... wrapping paper I got it at dollar tree in the wedding area
i made my own template for the pocket fold since I needed a odd size.... The invite itself is a Brides kit from michales so I had to make the pocket fold around that.

basically for the template I put the invite itself and the insert paper on the cardstock and sized it out from there.... if you have a invite that is a 'normal size' templates are all over the DIY board and can be found doing google searches....

after figuring out sizes and where to cut the card stock the pocketfold itself takes a few min a peice to cut and assemble. it's the printing i feel that is going to be the most time consuming.

i like it! :) i wish i could be that creative and do my own things.. but im not so creative :( and have to get like everything done, lol!
