Final DJ appointment tonight AND... HELP PLEASE

We still haven't picked out any of our songs!!!! Not even our first dance!!!

There has been so much going on in the past few weeks we've just never had time to do it, and if we had, we haven't been in the mood to (e.g., last night).

HELLLLLLLLP ME!!!

Before you judge me on this... we have offbeat taste in music. Here are 2 songs we're considering for our first dance:

Oasis: Wonderwall
Pretenders: I'll stand by you
Elton John: Your Song

Anyone? Thoughts? Other recommendations?

thanks girls... pretenders is my top choice. fh likes wonderwall, which i love, but i think is too depressing and gloomy.
i love 'your song' but a) my dad asked us not to play any elton john at the wedding, and b) ok i guess there is no 'b'

Wonderwall is a little on the down side...and while I love Elton, I think The Pretenders' song is just so powerful.

why is ur dad against Elton? he just doesnt like him?
