how soon to your wedding are you doing your final fitting? I have had 2 already (and it was almost perfect at my 2nd fitting), and have the final fitting scheduled for a week before the wedding. do you think its okay to move it to 2 weeks ahead? my mom would prefer me to switch the date but I'm sure if its a good idea (or doesn't matter)? thanks!
Personally, I'd like to have it as close to my actual wedding date as possible. My last fitting will probably be the first week in May, so a little over a week before the actual date.
I think that would be fine. Its still close enough to the wedding, but gives you extra time to change anything as well.
i'm sure it's probably fine to move it out, but would you still pick it up closer to your date?
mine is one week before the wedding. it is better 1 week before because you don't have to worry about storing it as long and things getting wrinkled, dirty, or damaged.
I would pick it up on the Thursday before regardless, so its just a matter of the actual fitting itself. I doubt I will change size at all with that extra week. I am going to call my dress-fitter tomorrow and ask. thanks!
keep the last fitting as close to your wedding as possible. Many people lose weight at the last minute due to stress and if there needs to be final alterations they can do them on the spot. I picked mine up 3 days before the wedding.
I have mine the week before, picking it up 2 days before. I want it as close to the wedding as possible for the best fit.
keep the 1 week appt....JMO you want to have your final fitting as close to your wedding as possible!
