Final Fitting Question!! HELP!!!!

I had to move things around because I have to make final payment to the hall and the day I had my fitting, my BM at the hall will not be there. I cannot take off so many days at work leading up to the wedding.

Is having my final fitting on 9/12 CRAZY since my wedding is on 9.20???

can your steamstress make all the alterations in time?

I think so... I called to change and they didn't seem to have a problem with it. (crossing fingers)

if your steamstress can do it... I say go for it, plus your dress is going to fit like a glove since your final fitting is later

That's definitely fine! I had two fittings the week of my wedding! They will make it work

Anyway - are you worried that is too soon?

Also are you stressed or have you been losing weight??? And what is your last day of work?

I had my last fitting 2 days before the wedding but that was due to dress problems and because I lived a few hours away. My dress felt loose and I was pssed - so I had them tighten the inner corset. On the wedding day it still felt loose and may have been becuase I lost 2 lbs? Who knows! Anyway I am babbling here but I think most people have their finals a week before the wedding!

Hey Jenna!

I'm worried that it's too close to the wedding!! I originally had it on September 9th and I was going to take the day off to make final payment at RH and then do my fitting. Then I come to find out that the RH is closed on Tuesdays so the only other day Bridal Reflections can take me is Friday the 12th (8 days before the wedding)

I was just worried that it would be cutting it too close!!!

Oh wow!!! I'm sure you'll be totally fine!!

My DIL, Nina, was a long distance bride so she had all THREE of her fittings the week before the wedding. Kleinfeld's scheduled her for the Tuesday, Thursday and Friday before the wedding and she picked up the gown on Saturday (the wedding was Labor Day last year). It fit her beautifully and she looked gorgeous. So yes it can be done.

and to answer your question, YES!! I've been a stressball. I think I'm losing weight but haven't checked the scale... (crossing fingers LOL)
