Ok...I absolutly LOVE my dress and my shoes. I cannot wear heels to save my life so I wanted a pair of 'pimped up' flips flops and found these. They are perfect.
I picked my dress up last night at a personal seamstress that I know. Shes done all of my dresses for everyhting and has done a spectacular job. And she did again, with the alterations. Perfect length, perfect fit. BUT look at the wrinkles!!!!!!! I cannot believe she gave me back my dress like that. She said she steamed the front but she couldnt do the back because of the lace over lay. Me and my MOH didnt realize how bad it was till I put it on today. What can I do??? I got a black and decker iron/steamer for my shower, could I use that?? How can I get the wrinkles out from the fabric under the lace? Im so upset about this....
maybe bring it to a dry cleaner and see if there is something they can do.

I was going to say the same thing. The can probably can steam it for you.

I would bring it to the cleaners.. Personally I would be scared to try to steam it myself especially if there is lace involved.

You look beautiful in your dress. ITA with what the other ladies said bring it to a cleaners or maybe a bridal shop can steam it for you for a fee.

Your dress is beautiful!! I would be nervous to try to get the wrickles out myself but the cleaners will charge you probably about $75, it ***** but thats probably the best thing to do imo. Oh and can you believe in 6 days we'll be Mrs.....i cant wait

I don't know about steaming. . my seamstress told me NOT to steam mine b/c it can easily ruin the material but mine is a silk/taffeta so don't know if that's the same. . I would call a dry cleaner. .

DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF!!! You never know what could happen, and those fabrics are delicate. Also, she should never have returned the dress to you in that condition. That's what she's paid for, am I wrong?
OH- BTW- I LOVE THE DRESS!! I'm a big fan of the bow!!!

I have to agree with the other ladies, definitely try a dry cleaner, I wouldn't DIY this one, it's too important!!

Thanks for your help everybody!! Im having such a hard time finding someone who will steam my dress. As soon as I mention wedding gown they're like 'NO WAY'....?? Apparently nobidy likes to touch wedding gowns because they're afraid...haha. Grrr....I dont have time for this. I only have 5 days to get this taken care of!!

I don't think it looks that wrinkled, but it's hard to tell since when it's in motion, it'll be wrinkled here or there.
You look absolutely beautiful in your dress -- it's just perfectly tailored and wonderful. You're going to be a princess... and in just a few days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
