Is it necessary to have a final meeting with the photographer, or is it okay to discuss the final stuff on the phone?
honestly, we only met with Duet once, when we signed them... the rest of the details were discussed over the phone or via emails... no problems at all on the wedding day...
I would think it's ok to discuss on the phone since my photographer told me to stop in last time I was in NY and I forgot and now the wedding is in 10 days, lol. I hope it's okay to discuss over the phone. I think it is. Yeah!
we have our final meeting with Duet today. i have a few specific requests which is why i wanted to meet with them before the wedding. plus, jay shot our casual day pics and alberto is doing the wedding so we wanted to meet him.
We are meeting with our photog the week before to discuss all the details and timeline.
we also plan on meeting w/ him a week or 2 before.. I just want to to touch base w/ him it will be crazy the day of so at least that will keep me sane..
We met with our photographer after he was assigned to our wedding - about a year ago. We haven't really had the need to meet up with him again since then but when we went to the studio two weeks ago to make final payment and go over everything they said he would call us the week of the wedding. I would really like to speak to him so I can confirm he'll be there and go over some things - including timeline. I think over the phone if fine for that.
I don't think you need to meet in person, unless maybe you want to recreate a photo and need to show them.
