Ladies - I can't find recent threads on this so I'll start another -
Are you/did you give less than your total? I actually have 4 people who very well might not come because their mother is very sick.
So if you give less, and then the full amount come, do you just tell them when you get there and then give cash that day?

My RH told me to lowball about 3-4 under just in case. The day of, they will charge my credit card for anyone extra I have.

I thought about doing this but then the tables wouldn't be set up the right way, so I just gave them the exact amount. Hopefully everyone shows up

I'm planning on giving a lower number - probably by about 3-4 people. We'll just pay for the extras that day if everyone shows up

im definitely low balling the number and cutting out people who aren't 110000% sure they will be there

I am for sure giving like 4-5 less. I feel his family will flake seeing how they were with the rsvp's
