FINALLY!!!!

the church called and approved my wedding ceremony

it has been 6 months of annoying waiting... we had to wait to get an answer


but it's good, we can get married in manhasset :)

WHAT A RELIEF!!!

i booked the limo and gave them a route WITHOUT actually having confirmation that the church would host my ceremony

If I may ask, why would it take them so long? We met with the pastor and he wrote it in his book... we haven't taken FOCCUS or precana yet either...

well my church is on the south shore and so we wanted to get married on the north shore at a 'sister church'


so 5 UNANSWERED e-mail from the wedding coordinator they have on staff
(starting in December when i got engaged until august.)

THEN she finally writes back and I find out we have to wait til October to submit the request.

they wouldn't allow applications until 6months prior to the wedding to give preference to their own congregation members

i wrote at least 5 e-mails asking on the status of my request and finally got someone on the phone today and they said 'oh yes you are approved'


UGH why didn't anyone answer my e-mails???!!!!

Awesome!! Sounds about right...From my experience, most of the people working at church are not there full time or are there to just take messages (like the high school kids)... It took us like 3-4 calls just to ask them why our deposit didn't clear yet... 2 months later it did...
