Finally - a YAY!!!

Well - we went on our tour of Long Island reception halls today.....and...............

WE SIGNED A CONTRACT!!!!!!!! We're going with the Fox Hollow - it was AMAZING. I know - a lot caps - but I walked out of there in tears & my FH simply said, 'we're not going anywhere else' (we were going to go to 3 more places).

They gave us an AMAZING deal for our January 20th date & the ceremony will be in their chapel room and the cocktail hour in their restaurant upstairs and our reception in the incredible Winter Garden Pavillion! They also gave us the free room the night of the wedding next door!

I cannot possibly describe to you all how happy we are!!!!!

I smiled the whole way back to my parents' house and I cannot thank you ladies enough for all of your wonderful advice!!!

Get ready for the onslaught of questions about video/photo/floral, etc!!!!

yaaaaay!!! congrats!!!!!!!! the winter garden pavillion is absolutely GOOORGOOUSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was so set on there but had to many people for that breathtaking room - CONGRATS TO YOU!!! YAAAAAAAY!!!

Congrats! It's such a nice feeling when you book your hall and know you can start moving forward with all the other plans. Good luck picking out your other vendors - and have fun doing it!

i loved the WGP but our guest list was too big i was soooo bummed when we couldnt have it there and the bigger room just wasnt me!!

I agree - we felt the same way when we booked.

Now you can begin all the other stuff and be totally obsessed like the rest of us.

ohhhhhhhhhh that's so great. When we went to see WCC I left crying. We went back a few weeks later to sign a contract.

You aren't kidding on obsession!! I am still getting tears in my eyes when i look at the pics I took!!!

I think we're going to go with an 'under the stars' theme - so i'm trying to find all kinds of starry things!
