FINALLY all responses in, tables are done but then EPIC fail

I finally got the last response this AM from my dads boss (it was a no) and the tables are DONE!!!!

I just have to put the final list together for HER and sending everything over - hopefully I'll have the energy to do all of that tonight!!!!

Epic fail - FMIL realized that one of their very good family friends were not on the RSVP list. Long story short, they never got a wedding invite Not really sure what happened since they were at the e-party and the wife was at the shower. I checked ALL my guest lists and they are no where to be found. I am kind of mad about it b/c FMIL was making it sound like it was my fault but umm, your friends are not my problem. Yea that might sound mean but I gave your MULTIPLE copies of the guest list to make sure this EXACT situation didn't happen and it still did. Soooo we are going to play it off that it got lost in the mail and just recently got returned and we figured something was up since we didnt get an RSVP and we've had so many issues with the USPS and RSVP's.

I feel bad b/c they are super nice but oh wellz. They know about the wedding and are coming.

Ahh congrats on getting your tables done! I just started that and it's SO hard!!!!

We did that with his cousins I wanted one to come but not the other but we couldn't because they are sisters and up each others you know what so now we are playing like we invited them and they never rsvp'd LOL ops!

at least you caught it now...playing it off like it got lost in the mail is perfect! i wouldnt stress over it

but maybe it did get lost in the mail, I've been hearing A LOT of problems like this are happening with USPS

Yeah just say it must have gotten losy in the mail, because clearly they were invite eveyrthing else... Yeah I had to do this with a couple folks...LOL
