Finally back to work from surgery...

Today is my first day back to work from having surgery to relieve my endometriosis. I've been sick since before my wedding and finally got the surgery done 10/17. It's been a slow recovery :(

It turns out the endometriosis spread to my gallbladder, appendix, all over my ovaries and my pancreas. They have to go back in in 6 months to remove more.

Right now they have my on Lupron...does anyone have any experience with this drug? It throws you into metapause.

They had me on Depo for 2 years, then the surgery this month, they gave me my first shot of Luptron in the hospital

I'm having big problems with hot flashes and nasea.

yep...hated the hot flashes. I've learned the secret to the nasea is to eat small portions practically all the time. once your body gets use to it..they 'SAY' the nasea is suppose to stop but I didn't feel like it ever did. is the plan to keep you on Luptron until you have your next surgery?

I've been through forced menopause twice already for the same type of condition. FM me if you want more information

They also put me on Zofran (nasea meds for chemo and radiation patients). It's very strong, but works. Did you take any meds for the nasea?
