Just talked to our priest and I booked the rehersal.
It's been a long time coming - with the Easter holiday and the recent passing of his father he's been busy but we finally put it on the calendar.
He's actually going to be on a retreat and won't be back till the morning of our wedding!!! he is coming back just for that which is really nice
We have to call him after easter to set up a meeting to go over the ceremony but I am just happy to have the rehersal down so the in-laws can get the invites together for the RD

Nice congrats! That was one of the most stressful things for me b/c my Church basically told me, don't call us we'll call you when we're ready to book, but I was nervous about not getting my Thursday night time slot, since they had like 1 of them, and a billion weddings MDW.. I also wanted to give my in-laws plenty of time to book the dinner afterwards.. Luckily it worked out.. Which day are you doing it?

The Friday night before - too many important people from the wedding party are from out of state. he said to do it the week before but the in-laws booked the RD a while ago for the 27th so I pushed for it and lukily the deacon will step in and do it for us!
