FINALLY!!! Dress drama over! Wedding Salon is the best!!

Hi Ladies! Some of you may remember that a few months back I ordered my dress from Wedding Salon and then had EXTREME second thoughts about the Richard Glasgow dress I chose--I wasn't sure if tulle was the right way for me to go. I spoke with Noreen at Wedding Salon of Manhasset (who I cannot say enough GREAT things about) and she not only said that I could transfer my deposit to another dress, but she even set up an appointment for me to meet with Richard Glasgow to have him help out with my dress concerns and see what he thought.

I dedided to go with the first dress I originally loved, which Richard Glasgow also thought looked great. Even my brother cried when he saw me in my dress--he's very stoic and macho, so this was a moment. He took such detailed measurements, it was crazy and the good news is that I went DOWN a size in the few months since I'd been there! Of course, he was an hour and a half late to our appointment, but whatever, right?

My biggest rave, however, is for Noreen. Ask for her, ask for her, ask for her if you go to Wedding Salon!! Even though I'd put down a 50% deposit on the other dress, she was completely fine about letting me transfer the deposit (my wedding planner said this is very unsual). Not only that but she even gave me the 10% trunk show discount today even though I'd technically already placed an order for the dress. So, I was able to change the length of the train on the dress to get a double bustle (which I really wanted) and the dress was STILL cheaper than the original ticket price!! I'm so excited!!!

Thanks to all of you who encouraged me to go with my first instinct--you were so right.

It's so refreshing when I see there are good people in the wedding industry who are willing to go above and beyond...

I think the Thank you would be nice. I'm glad it is settled. I love every single one of the Richard Glasgow dresses..it would have been my dream dress if I had the money, I dont think you could look bad in any of them. Your choice is AMAZING!!!

Arent they just great there?? I got my dress there too and I cant stop raving abt how sweet and accomodating they were. Rosemary is also the best!
