Sorry for the delay ladies...I had a major freak out at work!! I'm scraping my idea for today's question as I have been INSPIRED by the events that took place in my classroom over night.


What would you do if you showed up to your RH and everything was set up all wrong??? The colors, the table shapes, the layout of the room, etc.


I am very good at having a really terrible initial response to things. I'm sure I would melt down, freak out and start having a nervous breakdown right then and there.

The next thing that I think would happen is that my sis/MOH and my DOC - Ryan from Above and Beyond Events, would start their damage control. They would prevent any of the men from getting into fights...seriously, Ryan has done this!!! Then my BM Amy would make sure I had a glass of white wine in my hand all the while my MIL would be whining about HER something or other.

I'm sure within minutes, the room would be sparkling the way it should have been in the first place. Okay, I hope!!!

I'd just roll with it. Initially I'd be like but then I'm sure my stage management experience will come into play and I'd just make the best of it.

I've worked on enough productions to know that things don't always go as planned, but the audience is never the wiser if you've got a good crew.

I'm going to have my MOH check it out before I get there (ceremony is at the same place). If she thinks it's wrong, it'll be changed before I even see it :).

i would probably give the manager hell for 5 minutes and then tel him to get me a really strong drink and start partying

i would freak out
only because i wouldnt hear the end of it from fh as to why i hired a DOC if they couldnt handle something like this

I would probably flip out and then send my brother to take care of it. He is the best when it comes to taking care of problems. Knowing him I would end up getting half my money back.

I'd probably freak at first, and then do everything in my power to make it right.

UNLESS it looks better than what I originally planned........then I'd keep it all

I'd like to say I'd let it go and party it up anyway and eventually I would, but not until after having a fit. I'm working my arse off here to pull it together and the thing I'd be MOST upset about is my DIY stuff. Why sew 20+ table runners if they're not even going to put them out for all to see!!

I am so afraid of this situation, b/c there is another wedding that starts an hour ahead of mine and is using my reception room for their cocktails! So I made sure my DOC is going to inspect every inch before we go in to make sure it's spotless!!
