FINALLY getting some things done

I did alot when we first got engaged such as booking all our major vendors way in advance, even more than a year in advance. But after a while i started procrastinating and now that its getting closer i realized just how much i have left to do

BUT since the new year ive been trying to get everything done

I made an appointment for tomorrow with Regina B, getting my headpiece and earrings from there

Called up Pedestals yesterday to ask for my sample CP, and we go on Jan 24th.

Ordered samples of invites so we can pick one soon

Our church called so we have to go Jan 16th

This week FH even has been calling vendors to pay off some balances so it will leave us less to pay right before the wedding. For our DJ he paid more than what our installment was so that leaves us just 1k left the night of the wedding.

Found vendor to do our card box so we contacted them to order one

found garter

and most importantly and yes i know this is bad but im gonna set something up for the next week to get BM dresses also called JR bm's mom so getting hers too and our FG comes back from vacation on monday so gonna go with her after

FH also is getting one of the gifts for his GM

and also FH told his mom a place we would like for our RD, so i think shes going to see if the price is reasonable. THen on Jan 16th when we meet with the church we want to ask to have our RD 2 days before not the night before. After this if all goes well on both ends, RD can be booked

Ahhh should I be doing a sample centerpiece now too? Do we get only 1 sample then if we make any changes do we get charged to see the new changes?

Are you feeling a better now that your back on the planning wagon?!
I know when I go through planning lulls I get down on myself then once I accomplish I feel so much better.

Wow u got a lot done. I kept telling myself that I would get motivated after the holidays but it hasn't happened yet. :(

You are on a roll....but why are you embarrassed about the BM dresses? Honestly, people really exaggerate the length of time it takes them to come in. Mine were BIll Levkoff, they ordered them at RK Bridal, were told 12 weeks and they came in in 8. So you're fine, you have PLENTY of time.

denise that is great glad to hear you are getting all the little things out of the way I started my list of things to do & the little purchases that need to be made its strange because the little tasks are the ones that seem so much more time consuming than the bigger ones (my opinion) but somehow it gets done- now you are on a roll and by the time you finish up your day will be here

I did the same hting Denise, booked everything right away then slacked...

BUT, I cannot believe you. Are you crazy lady? Actually you made me feel better b/c I'm going for my BM dresses this Sat and thought I was late...

Glad that you've been productive and getting some stuff out of the way!!!

Last night I was going through the MOAHTT (mother of all helpful threads thread).. there is a REALLY good to do list on there.

Sounds like you are in really good shape though- keep it up!!

I felt the same way as you Denise. Granted I still have more time than you but I feel like I have so much left to do. St Francis called me too. We are meeting with Deacon Sal on Monday.

you're ahead of me on the sample CP, i still need to make an appt, and i only have a month to go!

congrats on all the progress!! it happens like that, we did so much so early, then near the end we did the rest.

well nadia told me its better to do it now since they're not as busy during this time, she had told me this when we first met with her.

I dont think you get charged to see new changes

it seriously felt like a huge weight was lifted...I wasn't as stressed and am actually able to talk wedding plans with others now, before it would stress me out thinking about everything i still had left

you have more time though...when i was at 8 months i didnt get motivated...I have 4 months now so its different. If i dont get invites NOW for example or order the dresses i wont have it in time for the wedding ...now its not about motivation, its about the fact that i HAVE to get these things done now
