i have to leave work early to go to the doctor so i am popping over to SS office tomorrow...hpefully it wont take long. Most people i have talked to who went to the melville office said it went pretty quick!!

I'm feeling a little wierd about changing my name.... I'm a teacher and I get called by my maiden name like 100 times a day. Mrs. Carrieri doesn't have the same ring to it.

It's funny, my students this year and from the past three years have already made it clear that they will never call me by my new name, I'll always be 'Ms. C'.
