Finally got the ball rolling

Hello ladies,

I got engaged last month and we decided to get married in October and I was freaking out because I didn't know where to begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well today we went out wedding/reception hall shopping and WE PICKED ONE. I now have a hall and a wedding date....

When I started looking around I broke out in tears and got goosebumps.

We are going with October 8th and I just realized that it is Columbus Day weekend....that shouldn't be a problem, right? We are having an afternoon Sunday wedding.

I think my friends are sick of me talking about it so I am looking to you ladies to share with.

We are going with the Chateau Briand for the wedding and reception. I am so excited.

We still need to put down the deposit but the date is held.

If you are worried about the date send Save the dates. I used www.agiftfulheart.com

they were amazing. did my save the dates in one day and then shipped them. I loved them so much..

Hi!!!! and Welcome!!

The only problem you may have with getting married that weekend, is that some vendors will charge you more because it is the Sunday before a holiday, so they will give you Saturday prices. But since you're having an afternoon wedding, that shouldn't be a big deal.
