FINALLY great news about the NEW LOVE STAMPS! Definitely the 27th!!!!
Hi girls! I had read on here yesterday that the new love stamps weren't supposed to come out til the 29th, someone had found out. I got all upset cause I was really pushing waiting til the 27th to send out my invitations and although it was two more days I didnt want to wait anymore(i want them there before people go away for the holiday weekend). So....
I called my post office in NJ(i live there but my parents and my wedding are in LI). When i went in earlier in the week they had said the 27th but couldnt guaranttee and told me to call. So i called and....the lady said THEY ALREADY HAVE THEM!!!!! But...they aren't allowed to sell them til the 27th!!!!!!! I tried to ask if they would sell it the night before at closing but no such luck! but i'm so excited that they actually have them!!
Then my dad decided to call our LI post office and the guy said definitely the 27th. So he asked if they already have them and just aren't allowed to sell them til then(so at least we would know that they had them). The guy acted all weird and basically tried to say yes without actually saying yes! So that post office does have them!! Why they can't sell them then til the 27th is the stupidest thing ive heard but whatever....
so girls, just call around to different post offices and see if they are getting them in and they ask if they already have them...try to feel them out. I'm happy the nj lady actually volunteered the info that they have them.
Can't wait for wednesday morning now! just got to wake up early to get there when they open and then i can stuff envelopes and mail them out by the end of the day!!!
