FINALLY i have some GOOD news!!
ok... i've barely been on (well, at my usual rate, anyway) b/c things have been sooo hectic, and cr@ppy lately... just wedding, family, and work stress all at once (oh yeah, and FH is def going to Vegas for his BP--- still not excited about this, but i'll deal) ![]()
Anyway... as most of you know... i hate my job. Not just hate it, but everyday i seem to face the debate- would i rather drive rusted nails into my arms or dull pencils into my eyeballs (as these are the better alternatives than going into my office everyday)![]()
and while whining about it had actually become fun- in a self- destructive kinda way- I decided to get serious about going somewhere else. Although i thought i should wait to add the stress until AFTER the wedding (only 95 days away ![]()
)... i didn't want to put it off-- what good is staying just for the sake of being miserable.
SOOOOOOOO last week, i got a call from North Shore LIJ-- I went for the interview, and Today, i got a phone call saying that I GOT THE Position!!!!!![]()

I am so excited, its not even funny!!!
so one thing- the salary is a Bit less than what i make now... but in 6 months, it goes back up to where i am now. It made me a little hesitant b/c of the wedding coming up, so i called FH at work to discuss. Now, Here is the best part of my day (even more than actually getting the job)... FH's response (keep in mind that he also Hates his job lol)::
'Im so Happy for you!! dont worry about the cut-- ill do some OT and itll all even out. I dont want you to pass up this opportunity. we'll make it work, and we'll be fine!!!'
the way he said it was just so awesome... i almost got all teary![]()
(you know i dont usually gush over FH, but he was totally deserving of this one!)![]()
So now my plan is to wait until my Supervisor is in a SUPER B!tchy mood (which will probably be w/ in 10 minutes of her getting into work![]()
).. and Then break the news to her. I'm happy ![]()
