DH has to work Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day!! In all the time that we've been together we have NEVER missed a holiday together. I know that there are brides on here who never get to see their FI or DH on the holidays but I guess I've just been spoiled with always having him so this is really upsetting me. Especially since it's our first set of holidays being husband and wife. This really bites!

im sorry to hear that ...
one year when my bf and I were dating we couldnt be together for our anniverary. So, when we finally got togther I made a fake calendar for the 'official day' and we celenrated then. We pretended like it was our anniversary and it was a lot of fun. Even tho it was a few days after it worked out - be creative!
