FINALLY! Mom got her dress

My mom FINALLY found her dress! What is so ironic is that it is the SAME dress I almost wore to my best friend's wedding lol but she decided against because they didnt have the shade of blue she wanted.

My mom chose coral-this color and this dress. she was concerned about the length for a day wedding but I finally convinced her it was fine because its so simple-no glitter and she looked amazing in it! She's self concious because of weight she has gained, but she looked tall and svelte in this dress. AWESOME gown for anyone wanting to hide a little extra baggage.

Totally appropriate for the Mother-of-the-bride at a summer day affair right?

I wouldn't be concerned about the length... but then again, mom has a navy and gold taffeta ball gown for our afternoon wedding

Thats what i said! We look ALOT alike-its unny because random people will stop me to chat me up and Im like um...do I know you? LOL My mom used to work in the neighborhood in a medical office and the elderly LOVED her and always have to tell me. At my first job, my mom came in and pretended to eb a random customer lol to give me 'positive feedback' and as soon as she came in, my manager came over and told me to go and hug my mother and knock off the nonsense. We were both like 'we're not related!' and he came back with, 'Riiiight so take off her face then.'

Too funny. anyway, she looks great and Im pleased. I want her to look sexy and confident. HATE those traditional MOTB dresses!

I think that dress and color is beautiful! I actually said wow when I saw it! Not only is it perfect for a MOB but it is extremely classy. If your mom has long hair I think a simple updo would look fantastic with it. CONGRATS!

that's awesome.... Both mom and I have poofy ballgowns.... so we'll also look alike..... I think it's great!

Think about it, on your big day, your mom will look gorgeous, and becuase both of your styles (both of gowns and personalities) are similar, it will come through in the pictures.... how fab is that?
