Finally picked a honeymoon destination!!

After many agonizing months of discussion, debate and absolute indecision, we've finally come to agreement about our honeymoon.

I feel like I've already traveled the globe just coming to this decision. Tahiti was the first thought we had (not enough to do). Then we thought we might be able to do the Mediterranean (too cold in November). Australia was in the top spot for a while (too far) and we thought about Hawaii for a split second (too common). We actually almost booked South America (too much hopping around) and we debated a combination trip to Africa and the Seychelles (too many vaccinations).... ..and finally....

drumroll please.....

we chose COSTA RICA!!!!

We wanted something with beaches and some adventure and I feel confident we have a winner. Not to mention, it's quite the bargain compared to most of the other places we considered. FH was more into it than I was at first, so he told me I could pick the hotels. I found the most beautiful eco lodge in the rainforest on the osu peninsula in the south and a luxury boutique hotel on the beach up north on the nicoya peninsula.

I'm much more excited now!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Sounds great!

Honestly, the HARDEST part for us has been picking a honeymoon location (we went to Hawaii last year before getting engaged and Europe in general is too cold in October for the type of honeymoon we want and then my dream honeymoon is Bora Bora, but it's )

Congrats on picking a place. We are still debating on where to go. It's so hard to choose somewhere. I'm sure you will have an incredible time!

Picking a honeymoon spot was difficult for us as well. We decided on Australia; however, I am not looking forward to the very long plane ride!

Costa Rica is beautiful!!! I went there a couple of years ago! We stayed at The Paradisus-its on the Pacific Ocean Side-it was gorgeous! You definately have to do the zip line excursion-where you zip across from tree top to tree top in the middle of the rainforest!! That was so much fun!!

That's where I wanted to go Lucky you!

FH didn't want to go there (too many bugs) and then my mother heard about a hijacked tour bus or something and took FHs side- I got vetoed.
