you know how i feel about the hardbound but i know what you mean about staying in budget.

i say go with the pocketfold. you get to keep the hardbound one for yourself, no? lol at least you get to keep the proof, i mean.

she attached a post it to the invitation asking to return sample i wanted to keep it - it's so pretty. but i have a different hardcover sample from another person (not as pretty though).

well her initial quote to me was almost $200 less than what it actually cost - i added a few things but there were a couple of added costs that i didn't anticipate - e.g. the little scroll things in the corner of my invites were an additional $15 (i didn't choose those - she put them on the invite - which i didn't know about until it showed up on my invoice), she charges for using certain types of paper for the shipping from supplier (which was an additional $25), there were separate design fees for each insert, the little ribbon holding the inserts together, etc. just a bunch of little things that added up really quickly. all in all i've been happy, but i just think as a business model if you tell someone a price, you should stick with it, barring any substantive changes that make the price go up, ya know?

and she's a little 'preachy' but that might just be because she gets the same questions over and over again so i'll cut her some slack.

I love it Evita!!! The hard cover is really nice but I think I like the pocket fold better, plus $500 is a lot of money! I think you made a great choice

oh that's not cool. yea those 'little' things add up so fast. I was looking at it and i was thinking, oh i can add this and that but multiplied by 150-160, that adds up!!!! lol you're funny. but your invitations are beautiful!!

Oh my goodness I love them...can you tell me how much they were...I know who you purchased them from but just curious before I fill out that whole list...I have the same colors as you...but would do plain white on the top of mine...thank you!

Those are gorgeous! If you cant afford the hardcover, the pocketfolds look just as pretty!!!
