Finally something bought off my registry!!

I was feeling so down that no one hadn't bought anything off my registries and my shower is in August but i checked and something was finally bought!! I'm so excited for my shower!!

I saw today that someone got us our serving platter! I'm soooooo excited!!!

I didn't get anything from my registry at my ladies luncheon yesterday (although I did get a VS gift card that I proceeded to use to purchase night-of lingerie today!!!) so I've been encouraging family and friends who are still looking to get us things to buy from the registry.

And... I think my aunt's getting us our coffee maker!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!

GIRL! Don't even stress it...for a good 2 months, only 3 things were purchased off of my registry, my shower was yesterday and I got everything but my china!

Crazy, it's overwhelming. The gifts flew off the weekend before the shower- last minute. Do you know when yours is? Where is it?

Mine was at Riccardo's and it was AMAZING. The food was obscenely good Will post pics soon.

So exciting G...wait till things start FLYING off, then you'll be checking 3x a day like I was!!!

I'm in the same boat as you are, I get so excited when I see something come off, but then it's also bittersweet because half the guest list said no, so I know that really not much more is going to go.

That's okay. My Mom invited around 60 and she got a lot of no's because people are vacationing. She is thinking there will be around 40 attending. It will be lovely for you too, nice and intimate :)

My aunt and cousins from my dad's side are not coming either even though they were told in May about my shower they have plans so they say . I know, I have many people not attending that I'm upset about, but I'm focusing on the one's that are coming. People keep telling me that you find out how people really are when it is your time, and how they flake out. I'm sorry that you are so sad about this, it will all turn out wonderful, you'll see

You know G, be thankful that at least they are saying no in advance and not standing you up the day of! I had 6 people who RSVP'd yes not show...that's 6 plates that were paid for by my poor mom!

The people who want to be there, will be there...and you will feel like a Princess as you deserve to! AND you never know, they may send you a gift regardless. Enjoy this time, everything sorts itself out
