So I went to Fortunoff sunday, FH encouraged that we go because of the long sad day I had at the hospital saturday, I registered for my china, formal silveware, everyday silverware, pots and pans and all my steamware. I wanted to register for the rest (like kitchen appliances and such) at macys. Do people do that alot like break it up into 2?

I think that's what a lot of people do - we did Fortunoff and BBB.

I registered entirely at Fortunoffs. However, I know a lot of people who break up the registries.

Congrats on registering and taking some you-time, you deserve it.
That's totally normal...BBB is our main, Macy's will be for luggage and sheets and some misc. housewares, and Pottery Barn is just for holiday entertaining.
