Financial People: What Japanese trading company is in Midtown

Financial People: What Japanese trading company is in Midtown

I saw a head hunter today that is going to talk to a trading company located in Midtown. He couldnt give me a lot of information other then its a japanese company and located in Midtown. If things seem ok I may have an interview with them.

I have heard of Nomura and I dont know if its them or not. I know they have an office in Manhattan but its in 2 WFC (I had an interview with them) but I am not familiar with any other trading firms in Manhattan.

If anyone is can you give me the name of the company and a little background about it.

Sumitomo (sp) Bank use to be on like 47th and Park - by JP Morgan Chase - a good friend use to work there.

Yup, Sumitomo is close to where I work on Park. Actually, I think we may hav some offices in my building as well.

I knew someone that worked at Mitsui in Midtown. Don't know too much about them though.
