I have been looking around in bridal stores and lots of them dont carry plus size dresses in the store so I cant try them on because they dont have my size. They told me that they usually take measurements to your size but I dont trust that....Anyone ever had to do it that way?...Are the measurements accurate?

My Future Sister in law had that problem, she was measured and they got her a size too small (2 weeks before her brothers wedding!!!) It was very bad and they had to rush order a dress. However, she went to a place in brooklyn, I forget the name. I wouldnt recomend it to anyone. I believe it was called Princesses or something like that...

Usually whatever they measure you for... is pretty close.. but if you are uncomfortable with it.. opt for a size up.
also, another option is go to DAVIDS BRIDAL.. they carry plus size 16W and up.... and they have a wide variety of sizes to try on in the store.......
