was anyone else nervous/overwhelmed about finding a location site that fit within budget that made EVERYONE happy??? i can't wait to find a date and place. i'm told then that the engagement is much better and we can relax =)

Thank you!!! Ok, per person i'd love to spend no more than $180 and that includes all those hidden lcoation fees and what not. I'm trying for a NYC wedding, but honestly don't think I can do much with that per head.
What do you think??

I am experincing the same agita. We cancelled our first location b/c it turned out to be a ridiculous price. I may just have the band and the photo/video come to my apt on June 5, 2005 at this point!

I totally agree. I never thought i'd be so anxous to secure the stupid date and time. I just feel like (here i am fantasizing) that everything falls into place then!!
What made you choose the june 5th date?

Just go visit places and choose what feels right. And remember one thing: You're never going to make everybody happy, not matter how hard you try. The most important thing is that you and your FH are happy and that you enjoy your special day!

okay first off...breathe!!! i'm sure at 180 a plate you'll have plenty of options!!! i don't know about anything in nyc, but i've heard that terrace on the park in flushing meadows is BEAUTIFUL and around 100/plate...
just make sure when you're choosing your hall you figure in the gratuities + tax cause and any extras you would get because it can really add up!!

I went through the same agita! I was completely anxious until we had the date and place booked. It definitely felt good once we had the place booked.
For $180/person, you should have no problem looking at places on Long Island. What type of place are you looking for? Mansion, country club, temple?

WOW! $180 a head! That's almost my whole wedding budget- I think you could have your wedding anywhere!!!!
