How do I go about this? We are looking in NJ (Bergen County preferrably). When I look at the real estate sites, I can't find just land or lots....any help??? Thanks much.

My friends just closed on land in western NJ (around Sparta)-they are so excited!!
Realtor.com lists land parcels for sale. You should also drive around the area, read local classifieds and hook up with a local real estate agent. The local agent will be a great source of information about future land use in the area, and will guide you through the whole process (perc tests, applying for building permits, etc.)
