I have a problem. We are having the ceremony and reception at The Watermill. The Watermill does not offer ceremony music. They said they could have overhead music for when the quests arrive but as soon as the ceremony starts, I'm on my own. My dj that I hired does ceremony music but for an extra $250. All we want is the wedding march. My fh is having a fit about it. I told him we can put a stereo behind the alter and play it that way. His response is I'm not paying $400 to rent the hall for 1/2 hr to spend an extra $250 for a song. I agree but there's nothing I can do. Can you ladies please help? What should I do? Does anybody know who we can hire cheaper? Thanks a bunch.

My violinist was excellent, I got so many compliments on him. He is $300 and his name is James Graseck. He was perfect. You can read my review for more info. (for $300 he played all our prelude music while guests were seated, he played all the processional music and he played the recessional music and more music while guests left the church...he even continued to play outside while we took pics!!) Music
he has samples of his music online - he is very sweet too.

My DJ is charging us $100. try and negotiate with your DJ. They hike up prices for a wedding anyway.

My DJ gave us a good price because they do all of my fh and I work parties. $950 instead of $1400.

I meant that my DJ is charging $100 for the ceremony. I hope you meant that $950 was for the whole wedding!
