How many of you in addition to your everyday china registered for fine china?
Was it expensive?

Re: fine china
we weren't going to..but my mom begged me to.
our fine china is registered at BB&B...Regina Platinum by Noritake i think. we didn't want anything too expensive, i think ours costs about $49.95 for each 5 piece setting. but i've seen them for as much as $150-200!
you can register for service for 8, 10, or 12. we figured what the heck? and registered for service for 12.
it's not necessary, but if you feel like it, go for it!

Re: fine china
We did. At Macy's & Fortunoff. Fortunoff had some accessories that Macy's didn't have, but I thought it looked silly to just register for those extra pieces, so we did the entire set.

Re: fine china
I didn't. I'm not a china kind of girl. Plus, it seems that people hardly ever use it. It seems like such a waste.

Re: fine china
We registered for China. My family always used it so we want to use ours as well. Ours is Waterford so it is a little expensive. A place setting is $115. We registered for it at Macys.

Re: fine china
We didn't - I just couldn't seeing my family or friends putting down that much money on plates and glasses. But that's just b/c I know them - if you think your guests would buy fine china, then register!

Yes, we registered for fine china b/c we knew that we would use it. It's $89 a place setting. We can't wait to start hosting holidays just so we can use it.

Re: fine china
I registered for it and yes it was fairly expensive. We got most of our place settings but no accessories. I will ask for pieces at Christmas I guess.

Re: fine china
I did, I registered for Lenox Floral Veil at Fortunoff, $99.
ETA: It doesn't have a lot of accessories so the ones it has aren't too expensive.
Someone bought me two place settings already and my shower isn't until mid-October!
