Fine China and Casual China

This may be a stupid question...but, you register for both, right? lol

If so, is it weird to do round plates for my fine china and square plates for my casual china?
I'm so confused.

FH and I are not registering for fine china because we will never use it. Instead, we registered for casual china that is nice enough for formal dinners and for everyday use.

you can register for both!

and its def not weird to have square for casual and round for fine...they dont have to match they are not going to be on the table at the same time!

i only registed for fine china bc I know I will just buy myself a casual set since they are not as pricey as fine china

That's a good point. Buy the casual and register only for the fine.
Where am I gonna stick all these plates...lol!

Same here...I just need something a bit more formal than paper plates for when company comes over
