I want my hair down but have fine pin straight hair im scared it wont hold. For those of you who had it down how did it hold up all day? Im debating keeping it half up half down now.

I'll be doing my hair trial on September 16th...and will let you know. I have PIN straight hair and it's baby fine...thanks MOM!!!
I'm doing the trial at 10 AM because i want to be sure that it'll last all day long.. My hair girl says she can do it...so we'll see :)

i have baby fine straight hair...there are times i got it done and it didn't hold and other times it stayed all night...depends on the person who does your hair, but it is possible

i have the same hair and i used extensions and then did it half up. just pulled up in the front (the bangs). it held all day/night.

I have pin straight hair and it doens't hold a curl - even perms fall out of my hair

u really just have to go to trials and see how it holds up! ur wedding is in october so atleast u don't have to deal with heat or humidity ...but get a trial, and see how it holds up 'till the end of the night

Mine definitely doesn't hold a curl when I do it myself, but it does when a stylist curls my hair. I am still not sure if I want curls or not...I'm having a November wedding so the humidity won't be a problem, thank God

I have really straight hair that I had curled and put half up/half down for my wedding. I was nervous that the curls would fall out before the ceremony even started since it was a hot day. But my hairdresser put a ton of hairspray in my hair, and my BMs added hairspray throughout the day. Also, before I went to the hairdresser, I washed my hair and worked a strong-hold gel through it before blow drying just to add some texture. Not only did the curls stay perfect all night, they were actually hard to comb out at the end of the night! There are some pics of my hair in my wedding pic album. there is hope for you! hairspray and gel work wonders!

i have asian straight hair (because i am asian) and i wore my hair up with the ends curled. they made it extra curly cause the curls will kinda deflate as the day goes on. it stayed all day, with a little sagging late in the day. i think i can work.

what about using real hair pieces??? I found some out at a wig place in suffolk.... Mom swears by them... and now so do I.. we both have fine straight hair.... I tried them for my trial - on a rainy humid July day - and yes MY hair lost it's umph - but having these pieces in my hair def. helped... and they have a natural soft curl.... so overall - my hair stayed put!!!
they clip in and are as light as can be - and like I mentioned they are real hair.

I'm going to try this style
I'd LOVE that - but my hair falls so flat - it wouldn't look that nice...you can see how full her hair is - even though it's straight...

i have extremely fine hair and my hairstylist made me curly at my trial and i loved it. it did take about 2 hours but the results were worth it. i did half up and half down. u can see from my albums how staight my hair natually is and then check out my trial to see the miracle my hairstylist performed.
