Has anyone finished their basement recently? We would like to finish half of our basement eventually but don't know how much approximately it would cost us. Could someone help?? Thanks!!
P.S. We have a 3 bedroom ranch and would only finish the one side. Thanks!

We finished our basement recently..We added a bathroom too...My husband did some of the work on his own, (like sheetrock and built the walls for the bathroom we also painted and did the chair rail)...Then we hired a man to do the rest..we probably spent between $8-10K....It was well worth it..we have more room now

Our basement is already finished, but we're redoing it. We're just about to start, and we're adding a bathroom and a fireplace. I can't wait till it's done!
