I am looking into having my bach party there - we can't find any weekend house rentals and are looking into hotels. I know some of the hotels can be scary - but has anyone stayed at Cleggs Hotel or Houser's Hotel? Please let me know if either of them are worth checking out. I cannot find pisc anyhwere, and it's dricing me nuts! FM me if you don't want to post. Thanks so much!

Last summer we stayed at the Fire Island Hotel in Ocean Bay park. We got a room that slept 6 people (we had 10). Had a porch, with table and chairs, 2 beds, pull out couch, TV, micorwave, and fridge. I don't remember how much it was though. The rooms were clean, there was a pool and it was right on the beach too.

Let me knwo if you want to see the pictures.

I also posted this on 06:
If I remember correctly, Houser's Hotel is where you have to share bathrooms, you don't have one per room.

I don't know much about Clegg's. There are a couple of bed and breakfast places in Ocean Beach and two hotels in Ocean Bay Park. Here are some #s just in case you don't have them. Wish I knew more so I could help!

Cleggs Hotel - 583-5399
Houser's Hotel - 583-8900
Place In The Sun - 583-5716
The Palms - 583-8870

Ocean Bay Park:

check out Craigslist.org there are a ton of summer rentals. You have to see if they will do weekend rentals

It's rare to find a weekend house rental - most are week long rentals.

I had a house with friends for 4 years in Ocean Beach I would check out Craigs list it may be difficult to get a weekend rental usually the shares are there on the weekend and they rent it out during the week
