Make the table numbers names of places you have been to on Fire Island- Flynn's, Mermaids, the Lighthouse, etc.

Maybe for the hour derves, throw in a few of the foods your FH and you have eaten at Fire Island or anything that feels a bit 'special.' Unfortunately I know nothing about it so I tried googling but still don't get a sense so a bit stumped! SORRY!
I like what the above poster said. I also thought if you have any special pics of scenery or of you and FH from fire island, you could fade them in photoshop then print them on vellum paper with the table number on top. OR idea two is to do that and then print a portion of the story of how you and FH met on each piece and put them on the tables so people have to mingle to other tabls to read the rest. Table 1 would start it, then table 2 would be another piece, etc.

I like this idea - you could use the names of the different beaches like Kismet, Watch Hill, Atlantique, Sailor's Haven, etc..

We are doing a beach theme and all the tables will have island names. We got a half a coconut for the ringbearer to carry and we mailed out coconuts for STD's. I got a lot of the beach items on ebay. I just ordered a satin treasure chest that was on sale and had free shipping. I think the sale it good until sunday.
