Fire Island Wedding

Hello All,
I am just recently engaged and new to this website. I am considering having my wedding on Fire Island. Does anyone know of someone who has had their wedding there? Any idea would be great. thank you!

i spent some time looking into that and it was really hard to find information. there are some restaurants who will do them, but nothing formal. there's the option of renting private property, but it's tough to convince owners to let you have a wedding at their place. give the casino in davis park a shot. it's right on the beach and reasonably priced ($110pp for the biggest package, though it's pretty average when compared to other venues). again, it's super casual, but everyone i know who went to a wedding there said they had a blast.

I was thinking about Ocean Beach. There are 2 places there that will do it. I spent the entire summer there last year, rented a house, and I absolutely loved it. Thank you for the information!

i love fire island ....my cousin did theirs at the place in davis park the casino i believe....it was small and simple

I LOVE Fire Island and a wedding would be beautiful there
just something to keep in mind though...you can only get there by ferry and that may be difficult for some guests
