The 'other' NYC wedding board is all in a huff over a vendor who told a bride that she wasn't artistic and edgy enough to photograph so she declined being her wedding photographer. Very rude, if I might say so.
Has anyone here encountered this? I ask because my cousin just had that happen to her with a coordinator and I was wondering if you guys had gone through this and if this is becoming more common? Granted, my cousin was showing some signs of Bridezillaness so maybe the coordinator thought she wasn't worth the trouble!

I read about this on the Knot. It seems like there may be two different versions as to what was actually said.

Re: Fired by your vendor?
what the girl went through, i did, however, im so over talking about it. the photog is extremely talented, just not very professional. i would still recommend her to people (see, im not a heartless biyatch) because her work is great.

Yeah, I agree with you ladies that vendors shouldn't take people they don't want to work with. I think it was more the way it was done - and the language used. There are gracious ways of saying you don't want to work with someone rather than coming out and insulting them by saying they are not artistic or edgy. How do you know that from one meeting? Anyhow, sounds like the bride went on to someone she liked better anyway, so no harm done except maybe some feelings hurt.
