Hello ladies. Are any of you doing a firework display? Or does anyone know who has had one? We are considering it. Does anyone know the price of something like this.????? Thank You

Re: Firework show for wedding?
well depends on your RH whether or not you can have it...Otherwise its not cheap, i would say a couple thousand dollars, unless you do just a few, but big morters are not cheap plus you pay for their time, those who are coming to do it

I know my brother is getting married at Crest Hollow and they wouldn't allow it, you have to ask your RH.

Re: Firework show for wedding?
I want to incorporate fireworks in some way at my wedding. Yeah I heard you have to sign so many papers etc etc, god forbid the place burns down, lol. Maybe I will just stick with sparklers, maybe you can do spaklers at the night if you want some kind of fireworks

if youre on the water you are more likely to do so...On glen islands website they showed a firework display after a wedding...but if you do it by the water its not just your RH youhave to ask, you need to get permission from the county and stuff like that

FH wanted to surprise me with that but before he blew the budget he figured he'd tell me first.. it was about $5k for 7 to 12 minutes...

FH was looking into it too. Just a word of caution that he received...'you get what you pay for'...I know that seems so obvious, but FH got the feeling that if you skimp out and go with a fireworks package that seems like a 'good deal' because it's so cheap..chances are it'll disappoint you. The 'satisfactory' displays were $5k+..the cheaper ones had dinky fireworks and were for <10 minutes...
You'll also need to get permits from the town or whatever and someone mentioned to us that the fire dept and emergency crews may need to be on standby in case anything goes wrong. Not to mention if the weather s*cks outside you just wasted a lot of money. All in all, the logistics of it were too much for us to worry about and we decided not to do it..but if you can pull it off that would be AWESOME

Re: Firework show for wedding?
I would LOVE that and everyone keeps asking me if we are having fireworks (4th of July wedding) but we can't afford that...I would rather go on a honeymoon then see fireworks for 10 minutes!
