Re: fireworks and pets
All my dogs have always hated the fireworks. So DH and I were worried how Lucy would react, she is a barker so we were ready for nonstop bark fest! However we were all outside and she was jsut walkign around playing, occassionaly should would look up and that was it! Thank goodness because they didnt end until around 1 in our neighborhood!

OMG! My dog was going nutz! He was pacing all over the house and panting like crazy. He was hiding in the corners of my livingroom. My poor dog was freightened! Sure enough people are lighting those loud non colorful ones that make the loud annoying noises.
Re: fireworks and pets
Maddy hates fireworks. We tried to distract her by turning on the air conditioning and turning up the TV, but she spent most of the night of the 4th with her head under our bed. We took turns laying with her and comforting her. I was so relieved when everything stopped around 11pm.
Re: fireworks and pets
My cat kept coming to the door to find out where the noise was coming from, but every time there were loud ones...she ran and hid in the bathroom.
Re: fireworks and pets
my friends dog who was tied in the backyard got loose and ran after the fireworks and tried to eat them...nutty pup...thank god we grabbed him!
