Ok so I've decided I'm canceling with my current photographer altogether because of several reasons... I would much rather lose out on my $400 deposit then pay $4000 for crappy wedding pictures that I'm going to be disappointed with. Has anyone ever been through this before??
And has anyone ever used or heard of Millimeter?

Re: Firing photographer
I have never heard of them, so I'm not going to be too much help... But, if you don't mind me asking...why are you having second thoughts? I mean, there must have been somethig that made you fall in love with them... what made you switch? Lastly, I would discuss with them the things that you do not like, maybe they can improve them. And, also discuss the reasons why you do not want to have them take part in your special day.

I totally understand what you're saying but honestly, I am trying to put my wedding together in 3 months. I felt that I had no time and didn't think any photographers would be available on the day of my wedding so decided to book without really thinking. Now after joining this site and seeing beautiful photos of brides I realized he is not my style. His work is very plain and looks somewhat unprofessional. I feel I'm getting ripped off as well and I would rather not put myself in that situation.

I was thinking of doing that with my florist. I think it will work out for me though. Sorry you are having a bad time.

Re: Firing photographer
There was an 07 bride that used Millimete and if I remember correctly she was very happy with her pics.
I used george from Right Angle and was very pleased with all my pics

I've never heard of them. But we cancelled our photographer/videographer a couple of weeks ago because we havent been happy with their work lately. The way I see it, this is something that you have to be happy and confident with who you are using because their work is something you will have for the rest of your life.

Re: Firing photographer
booking a photographer is so stressful! It costs so much money and you want it to be just right.
I would get rid of flowers, and extras just to pay the right photographer.

I must say that I adored TattooAnkh's weddings pics by Millimeter...I thought they were phenomenal.
Hope you find something better!!!

Re: Firing photographer
I total understand. I'm in the process of canceling my photographer also. I'm hoping that I get all of my money back.
