First 2 days....

Hey girls! Miss me?!?! Looks like I've missed soooo much in only a couple of days. I don't have a computer or phone yet at my new job, but hopefully I'll be able to sneak on every now and again during the day to say 'wud up'.

OK, so my first 2 days were OK, kinda boring because I have to do a lot of reading about the company and it's proceedures, but I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. There are mostly guys in the office which I'm so not used to but they all seem really cool. The guy I'm working with is 26 and is really cool and his sales partner (who I've yet to meet because he's out on sales calls all the time) is the #1 seller in the country for this company (it's a gigantic company... basically, almost everything you see in print, my company printed it). So I'm on a good team.

Getting up in the morning hasn't been bad, but I've been getting to bed at a descent hour and snoozin' on the train in the morning. FH and I have a little squabble this morning about our conflicting schedules (I used to get up at 7:30 and he gets up anywhere between 6 and 6:45 and now I get up at 5:30, so we're in each others way )

The big story so far though happened yesterday on the way home. A man passed out with a heart attack on the train 2 feet away from me! I felt so helpless but thankfully there were some amazing people around who were very helpful. We had to stop at Lynbrook so the paramedics could take him away. When we started going again, some jackass was saying how pisssed he was because it was supposed to be an express train and how this jerk off with the heart attack screwed up his night . Like that guy had a heart attack to ruin your night on purpose.... ASSS!

Other than that ladies.... all is good and I miss you all!

aww!!! i missed you !!! but im sooo happy to hear that your first 2 days have been good. and you and FH will get used to being in each others way.. my mom dad and i all get up at the same time and we only have one bathroom so i feel your pain! you just get used to it and sometimes have to SHARE even when its uncomfortable!

It does get crazy out there lol...People dont give up their seats anymore for pregnant women or the elderly or women with babies...I was on the LIRR last week and this very old couple walks on and theres no seats so they are standing by the door, now i am all the way in the back and theres a bunch of rows in front of me, do you think anyone got up to give them their seat-NO...I got up from the back and walked up to the couple to take my seat, i couldn't believe nobody that sat right by them would do it, the old man had trouble standing too.

I always end up giving up my seat bc people will just act like they dont see anything.
