OK so by having a winter wedding, we saved quite a bit of money - QUITE a bit - and we were still able to have the wedding of our dreams without so much as a skimp anywhere.
HOWEVER, because of that, each and every anniversary celebration we have, will not enable us to travel south or to a warm climate as it is a very popular and EXTREMELY expensive time to travel - President's week. Not to mention that resorts are filled with kids. As much as I LOVE children, I am not ready to spend my vacations dealing with their behaviors on my time off. I have been doing behavior mod all day for almost 11 years.
That being said, DH and I decided to go to the Poconos to the Caesar's Resort at Cove Haven where there is stuff for us to do. I don't mind the cold very much. It has meals and activities such as cross country skiing and ice skating. I am breaking out my CCMs!!! Besides, there is a heart shaped tub.
I cannot believe that we are married for almost one year!

Not the most expensive but certainly not the least expensive. All I know is that is has a heart shaped tub and 2 TVs. Thats all I need!

when we went for our hm, we had the cove fantasy. when we went for our 1 yr anniversary, we had cove harbour...its right near the dining room and cupids lounge. if u still have the top layer of your cake, bring it. there's a fridge in the room.
