We still need to book the venue (waiting to see how the venue looks in May to decide if we want May or June), but I did make my first wedding purchase today....my garter: http://www.etsy.com/listing/111328740/remove-before-night-garter-toss-pilot?ref=usr_faveitems

It might seem silly, but I'm excited because it's the first thing I've bought for the wedding over than magazines lol

A little background on the garter -- my FH is a pilot and there is a pin near the landing gear of most planes that says 'remove before flight'. I thought this was a cute play on that!

Very cute. FI is a pilot too and he just gave me a pair of undies that said the same thing...lol If they weren't bright red I'd think about wearing themunder my dress. LOL
