Re: First Dance
I love 'When you Say Nothing at All' - but the version by Ronan Keating, it's sooo pretty. We're using that as a dance for us but our first dance is 'At Last' by Etta James, FH's choice. ANother one, which is an oldie...is 'All my Life' by Linda Ronstadt and Aaron Neville...I LOVE that song.

Our Wedding Song is 'Swept Away' by Christopher Cross. Our good luck dance is 'For the First Time' by Kenny Loggins

What's a good luck dance? I never heard of that.
Here are some suggestions I have seen at recent weddings I've been to:
This is the Night - Clay Aiken
At Last - Etta James
Don't Wanna Miss a Thing - Aerosmith
Angel - Lionel Richie (it was fast, but choreographed - so cute!)
And a very pretty Dan Fogelberg song I just can't think of the title right now. Hope that helps!

Re: First Dance
Our first song was 'When I Fall In Love' by Celion Dion and Clive Griffin and our spotlight dance was 'Endless Love'.

Ours is By Your Side by Sade.
LIW has a list of first dance songs, it might help you to browse through it.

I love that song! We can't decide between: When you say nothing at all The Way You Look Tonight - Steve Tyrell Someone Like You - VanMorrison Feels Like Home - Chantal...

It's when the DJ says to the guests 'Please join our bride and groom on the dance floor. The more people the more years they'll be married....' something like that. It's similar to the Spotlight dance. Our DJ called it a Good Luck dance.
