First Dance

Our first dance song is going to be Angel Eyes by Jeff Healy band........I knew that would be our wedding song two months after we were dating......
I would like to do Grow Old with you by Adam Sandler when we cut the cake..../

I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want to dance to 'Through the Years' by Kenny Rogers, but FH said if he gets a tear in his eye listening to it now, he knows I'll be bawling on the wedding day.

One of our other options is 'Still the One' by Orleans. Same sentiment, but a little bit more upbeat.

The song 'you're my best friend' by queen would be such a great 1st dance song..but it's kinda fast

seriously, if you have sirius... just listen to the love songs station and you will come across soooooo many ideas! i do that every once in a while

Good Idea.
We may be using Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. Although we have a male vocalist during our reception, I might want the song to be live. This will be a factor. He does Sinatra & Buble amazingly.

Is anyone planning on doing a non-traditional type song? Like one that does not mention the word 'love' in it once... its more implied through the words? I know chasing cars is along those lines...

I'm asking because I think I may want to use Incubus' Dig... It is such a touching song and when you watch the video, once you get past the 'weird' factor, it has such a profound meaning....
