First Dance

I am stuck on this one.....I want to use either something old..70's, early 80's or something not alot of people have used. Any ideas???

We used the luckiest by Ben Folds. Not from the 70s or 80s, but it is a very common wedding song.

We used Always and Forever by Luther Vandross (there's also a Heatwave version...I think the bandname says it all - very 80s)

We used Bob Marley 'Is This Love' but the other contenders were Elvis Presley 'The Wonder of You' or 'Loving You'.

We used something pretty uncommon....The Promise by Tracy Chapman. We both just love the song.

We used 'Even the nights are Better' by Air Supply...Please don't call me a nerd...LOL....

My selection before that was 'Your in my heart' by Rod Stewart..

I'm guilty of listening to Doctor office music...LOL..

If you really want to get 80's, there's always Journey's 'Faithfully', Bryan Adams 'Heaven',
almost anything by Michael Bolton.
Eddie Rabbit's 'You and I' (duet with Crystal Gayle) is quite nice.

Sorry, I'm was a mid-teenager in the 80's.

I love that song!!!

Thank you! I was so worried that it was too much of a breakup type song....but you can interpret it either way. We loved it!

We choosed 'You' by Jim Brickman and Jane Krakowoski for Our First Dance. It is song that is not popular but it is a beautiful song.
